Swedish eco-farmer Sven Carlsson grew up as inseparable friend of Jonas Berggren, now a Fomula 1 pilot, and Elin, who gave up her biology study after marrying Stckholm pharmacist Frank Holgersohn. After a single reunion on his farm, Sven dies and leaves his estate to his buddies. Jonas would refuse, having fallen out with his pa years ago and invoking his contractual obligations. Elin gets him to stay at least for a while, which may prove enough time to reconsider their present hasty lives.

Notary Dr. Matthias Graf is found by wife Katharina Graf and assessor (deputy) Gernot Weiss in his office, skull fatally smashed with a Justice statue. His last, missed appointment the evening before was with foxy Marion Süßmayr, the wealthy local partner of former precinct interim Dirk Bergmann, who wanted to buy Graf's grand villa at Chiemsee. Gernot Weiss seems to lack both alibi and motive, as he aspired succeeding but has no written proof. Widow Graf -a former employee, still 'employed' to lure clients- now inherits everything, would have gone empty in case of an end to the loveless marriage, the notary was a brothel regular. Forensics on Graf's damaged car link him to a hit and run, which throws new light on things.

It marks the beginning of a new era in Denmark’s monarchy when Frederik X becomes king on January 14, 2024. On that day, the spotlight will also turn to him: Christian, the new Crown Prince.More duties, more public appearances, and more responsibility now await the royal, who has just come of age. Not much is known about Christian and his siblings—Isabella, Vincent, and Josephine—who are now also stepping more into the spotlight. Although they live in the heart of Copenhagen and attend public schools, there are no photos of them outside of official appearances. The Danes respect the privacy of their royal family and the princes’ and princesses’ right to a childhood. So far, Denmark’s young royal children have grown up without media pressure and with plenty of family warmth, able to develop freely and confidently in a protected environment.
